Kyle Richards’ Loved Ones Celebrate Her 55th Birthday with Heartfelt Tributes: ‘You Empower Everyone Around You’

Kyle Richards’ dearest friends and family wish her a happy 55th birthday!

On Thursday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was celebrated on her special day in a variety of touching tributes shared on Instagram.

Her eldest sister Kathy Hilton started the flood of special posts with a special picture of the duo singing their hearts out. Richards could be seen throwing her head back in laughter as Hilton struck a cheeky pose on the microphone.

“Happy birthday my love may this be the best year yet!!!! I love you.🙏🩷❤️🥰💕🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🎂🎊🎊🎊🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉,” she captioned the post.

In the comments, Richards let her sister know how much she appreciated the shoutout. “Thank you 🙏 I love you 💕 and why are you up so early? 😆😘,” she joked.

In a moving tribute of his own, RHOBH alum, Teddi Mellencamp made sure to tell her friend and former co-star how much she appreciates her.

“Sometimes things just stick. Like friendship. Or the nickname Keeks,” Mellencamp began with a montage of videos and photos taken during their relationship. “That happened six years ago with me and @kylerichards18. And I’m glad it stuck because there’s no one who makes me laugh more, no one who can mimic my walk better, and probably most importantly, no one who actually saved my life like Kyle .”

Mellencamp’s post included Richards strutting down the hall, red carpet photos, footage of the duo dancing on tables and an appearance on Andy Cohen Watch what’s happening live.

“All the diamonds in the world are not worth as much as our friendship,” she said. “I love you, Keeks. I wish you the happiest birthday ever!”

Kyle’s daughter Alexia, who she shares with husband Mauricio Umansky, celebrated her mother with a series of photos she shared on her Instagram Story.

The first panel shows a mother-daughter duo wearing black cowboy hats. Underneath the photo, Alexia wrote: “Happy birthday to my beautiful mom.”

She continued over the picture, smiling for the camera in puffer jackets and one of the couple seemingly walking around in Aspen, Colorado, “I love you soooooo! I love living with you. You make everything so fun and so exciting.”

Kyle Richards’ daughters are ‘holding on’ amid split news: ‘They’re really strong’

“You empower everyone around you. Thank you for making us feel so loved and so strong,” Alexia said over a photo of her and her sisters. She then posted a solo shot of Kyle that read: “My queen. 111.”

“We are so happy to have you,” she concluded with a family photo.

Despite their split, Umanksy still made sure the day didn’t go by without sharing a sweet message on social media for Richards’ special day.

“I wish you a happy birthday,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, tagging the reality star. The broadcast was a video of her playing Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” at an all-white concert and party that Erika Jayne had in Los Angeles.

Friend Faye Resnick also paid tribute to Richards with a sweet post.

“Happiest birthday beauty @kylerichards18 ❣️,” she captioned the photo carousel. “Thank you for a lifetime of great memories.”

Along with group photos, throwback selfies and solo shots of Richards, Resnick continued, “You were such a shining light to everyone you love and you light up every room you walk into 🎈🎂🎈🎂💃.”

Richards’ birthday comes after a challenging year in her personal life. In July 2022, PEOPLE confirmed that she and Umansky had divorced after 27 years of marriage. Just hours later, the duo broke their silence on the matter.

“Regarding the news that came out about us today… All the divorce claims are false,” Richards shared on her Instagram. “However, yes, we have had a difficult year. The most challenging in our marriage. But we both love and respect each other very much.”

Despite their problems, Umansky insisted that he and Richards are working on their marriage. “We have been married for 27 years. We’re in a bit of a tough situation,” he told PEOPLE in October 2023, adding that “life throws you different things sometimes” and “you have to get through it.”

While the couple was separated for some time, rumors swirled about Richards’ romance with Morgan Wade. The two first became friends after connecting on social media and since then have spent a lot of time together from training together, vacationing with each other housewives stars and even a tattoo where Richards inked her first initial on Wade. (The duo has consistently dismissed all dating speculation.)

On Thursday, Wade was in attendance when Richards and her friends jetted off to a tropical destination to celebrate her birthday. Mellencamp gave a sneak peek of their travels on her Instagram Story, which was later reposted by Richards.
