On Halloween, the Bravo TV personality recreated Jessica Simpson’s famous look from the MTV series, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessicawhere she was seen asking ex-husband, Nick Lachey about their tuna dinner.
During BravoCon, LeCroy said Party tonight that Simpson dropped into her Instagram direct messages to discuss the Halloween post. LeCroy said ET, “I said, ‘OK, this is amazing. I feel like I made it.’”
Before sending a private message to LeCroy, Simpson also took a look at the reality star’s Instagram. “Best with miracle whip, apples and chopped pickles 😋,” wrote Simpson.

On Wednesday, LeCroy took to her Instagram Story to share how excited she was to get Simpson’s attention.
“When I tell you I just screamed and scared the crap out of Brett,” LeCroy said, per Us Weekly. “He was like, ‘What?’ [And] I said, ‘Jessica Simpson is in my f—— messages!’ I did it… and I feel a collaboration coming. Belk, Dillard’s, call us. I mean, I think it has to happen.”

LeCroy and her husband Brett Randle recreated the famous scene by copying the former couple’s outfits from 20 years ago. LeCroy is seen holding a bowl and fork while wearing a baggy white T-shirt and black pants, while Randle sports a University of North Carolina muscle tank, blue basketball shorts and temporary tattoos that copy Lachey’s.
“Chicken must #newlyweds,” LeCroy captioned the Instagram.
In addition to LeCroy’s recreation, she also shared a screenshot of the infamous moment as well as a clip from the 2003 episode.
Lachey and Simpson were seen talking to each other about dinner when Simpson asked her then-husband, “Is this chicken I have or is this fish? I know it’s tuna, but it says ‘Chicken by the Sea’.”
“Is that stupid? What?” Simpson continued. “Don’t make fun of me now. I’m not in the mood.”
“You act like you’ve never had tuna before,” Lachey replied.
The clip ended with Simpson remarking, “I’ve been eating tuna sandwiches and things like that.”

LeCroy and Randle are preparing to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on November 16. The two tied the knot for the first time at a courthouse in Charleston, South Carolina, and celebrated again three days later in an intimate ceremony at Chablé Maroma in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
