Jewel scoffs at her tired “morning” face.
The “Foolish Games” singer, 49, shared a makeup-free video of herself on Instagram on Sunday and flippantly expressed her frustration with her post-sleepover look.
“I’m in Las Vegas and I woke up. I haven’t had one drop of alcohol, nothing. And I look like three miles of bad road. Why?” she said laughing.
“My face always goes on strike in Las Vegas,” she continued. – I don’t know, I walk around casinos and my eyes burn.
“Must be all the sin,” she joked.
Jewel went on to explain that the situation was only made worse by the fact that she forgot to bring one of her skin care essentials on the trip.
“You know what I do? I travel. Do you think I’d be good at packing? Well, I’m bad,” she admitted. “Somehow, I don’t even have a face cleanser in my entire toiletry bag. I’m 49 years old. How can I not pack a cleanser?”
The musician’s followers were quick to reassure her that she looked gorgeous, dry desert air or not. “You can never look bad, you’re beautiful. I think sometimes we just wake up tired of everything we deal with as humans,” wrote one person.
Another commented with a little advice: “That’s because there’s no humidity there 🥰🥰. Drink some water.”
As her video continued, Jewel changed the subject and revealed her big plans for the upcoming night: the U2 concert at the Sphere. “I’m really excited,” she said of seeing the Irish rock band.
She also said that the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) was being held in town at the same time – and when she saw all the visitors dressed in western clothes, she got nostalgic.
“Yet, I’ve stayed at this hotel, and there are so many cowboys. I love seeing it. It’s a sea of cowboy hats. It’s like the ghost of Christmas past. I’ve spent decades of my life at the NFR,” she explained. “It’s a journey to be here. . It brings back so many memories. Great memories. I like to see all the people from the village.”

I’m never going to give in to pressure… .'” she continued. “Regardless of whether people like genres of music, I did or not, it was me. I just wanted to do whatever I wanted to do.”
It’s a way of thinking she still embraces today. “I still feel that way. I feel really happy,” she noted.
