No, Big Sean and Jhené Aiko are not engaged — Aiko’s stylist just knows how to style!
After the 36-year-old “Sativa” singer was spotted with a large sprinkler on her left ring finger during a night out with her longtime partner, also 36, she made a rare announcement about their relationship to shut down engagement rumors.
After a social media user shared a video of Aiko at the GQ Men of the Year event on Thursday, November 14 and pointed out the ring in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Aiko clarified the reason for the giant splash with a short response.
“This ring is from my stylist ✨ it only fits on that finger 😘 the more you know 💫,” Aiko responded to the video, in which she appeared to show off the large ring as she posed for photos as Big Sean walked behind her.
And in response to another reply asking her to clarify that it was “not a wedding ring”, the star wrote: “Exactly 😌.”
“However, I got something nice for my right hand 🥰”, she added.

The rapper went on to say that for him, “marriage symbolizes, like, the best relationship,” and the idea of getting married is “almost a fear-based mindset,” given the high divorce rates.
Big Sean, however, did not say that he would never consider marriage.
“I would like to, but I don’t like to bring up our personal affairs like that,” he explained. “But there’s a lot of work to be done.”
