The thirty-year slider was one of 64 passengers killed in a tragic on Wednesday, January 29, a Midair collision between the American Airlines Flight 5342 and the Black Hawk helicopter with three soldiers on board, according to CNN.
Jinna is a member of the 2020 skating club, said Doug Zeghiba CEO at a press conference on Thursday, January 30th.
It was identified as one of 14 US skaters on the ship of a passenger plane. Olympic Mirai Nagas also shared with people that Jinna was one of the victims she knew.
“That loss is felt especially personal because of my connection with some families,” she said. “Jinna [Han] was an incredibly talented slider who regularly communicated with my son Taig. ”
Super Olympian Nancy Kerrigan, whose home club is the Boston club, said the situation was “heart”.
“Everyone who died is someone,” she said.

In a statement for people, American skating confirmed that the “several members” of their community is on board the aircraft.
“These athletes, coaches and family members were returning home from a national development camp held in collaboration with US Skating Championships in Wichiti, Kansas,” the statement said.
Other members of the community were Inna Volyanayskaya, 59, a former skater who competed for the Soviet Union, according to Reuters, citing the Russian news agency Tass, Volyanyanskaya was a coach for the team, on the Washington Figue Club website.
