He won the gold medal in the 800 meters and the silver in the 1500 meters, breaking the national record. In the 800 meters, he finished the race in 1 minute 45.65 seconds. In October 2023, Jinson Johnson participated in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and won the bronze medal in the men’s 1,500-meter race.
