Jitendra Patwari is an Indian politician and activist. He is a member of the Indian National Congress. He is the president of Madhya Pradesh Congress. He is a member of the Legislative Assembly of Madhya Pradesh Rau Vidhan Sabha.

In 2013, Jitu Patwari ran as the Indian National Congress candidate from the Rau constituency in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections and defeated the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Jitu Jirati by a margin of 18,559 votes. Jeetu Jirati). In 2018, he contested the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections in the Rau constituency and defeated the BJP candidate Madhu Verma by a margin of 5,703 votes.
In December 2018, he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, Youth and Sports Affairs in Madhya Pradesh in the Kamal Nath government; however, he resigned in March 2020 due to the political crisis in Madhya Pradesh in 2020. In 2018, he was also appointed as the working president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Party. On April 1, 2020, he became the chairman of the media cell of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC). In 2023, he ran again for the Madhya Pradesh legislative election in the Labor constituency, but failed. On December 16, 2023, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Congress Party in Madhya Pradesh.
