Joe Alwyn Steps Out in London Following Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Show with Travis Kelce

Joe Alwyn stepped out in style as he attended a star-studded dinner in London this week.

On Wednesday, June 26, the 33-year-old actor joined celebrities including Ryan Gosling and Salma Hayek at a private event hosted by Gucci in honor of its global ambassador Jannik Sinner.

Alwyn was pictured arriving at the dinner, held at Mount St. in Mayfair, wearing black trousers with red and green trim at the bottom, which he teamed with a matching jacket and white shirt.

He covered his eyes with sunglasses, and completed the casual chic look with burgundy sneakers.

Alwyn’s appearance in the English capital came just days after his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift held three concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium and her boyfriend Travis Kelce made his debut on the Eras Tour stage at the singer’s third concert on Sunday, June 23.

Alwyn’s outing comes after he opened up about his split from Swift, 34, for the first time in Sunday Times style interview that was published on Saturday, June 15. The couple dated for more than six years before PEOPLE confirmed their split in April 2023.

When asked if he had heard Swift’s latest album, Department for tortured poets — which fans believe may have been composed of material inspired by the former couple’s breakup — the actor’s response included: “I hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years year.”

“It’s hard to fathom. What’s unusual and abnormal about this situation is that, a week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to contribute,” Alwyn continued.

Swift went public with her romance with Kelce, also 34, in October 2023 when the pair were photographed holding hands in New York while attending Saturday night live afterparty at Catch Steak. The duo made a surprise appearance on the show earlier in the evening.

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end surprised fans by joining Swift in her “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” outfit change, wearing a tuxedo and top hat.

Kelce stepped in for the dancer who usually carries Swift on stage during the segment, beaming as he gently eased the singer onto a red couch, as well as dusting his girlfriend’s face with powder in a faux-retouch.

Earlier this week, the NFL star opened up about the moment he knew he was starting to “fall” for the pop superstar speaking on the latest episode of Barstool Sports’ Hanging out with guys podcast published June 25 (recorded June 19).

Discussing how Swift “grabs situations” like the Chiefs winning the 2024 Super Bowl, Kelce said, “She’s very self-aware. And I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, how honest she is socially friend [and] family. It can be crazy for someone with so much attention… and she just keeps it so cool and so cool.”

“I can certainly admire him,” he added.
