Joe Jonas Teases His Brother in New Tour Photos amid Sophie Turner Divorce: ‘Kevin Spilled a Drink on Himself’

The Jonas Brothers star — who recently filed for divorce after four years of marriage to Sophie Turner — was pictured laughing backstage while recording the band’s Five Albums. One night. World tour with his brothers Kevin, 35, and Nick, 31, in photos posted on Instagram on Friday.

“Kevin spilled a drink on himself,” Joe, 34, wrote in the caption, explaining the reason for his joy in the footage.

The first image in the carousel showed the younger Jonas Brother looking at the back of Kevin, who was also standing backstage. And while the photos didn’t capture the moment in question, Joe was clearly delighted by his brother’s spill, as other pictures showed him leaning forward and holding his chest while laughing, as well as covering his hand with his mouth mid-laugh.

Unfortunately, Kevin didn’t seem too impressed with the post, adding a middle finger emoticon in response in the comments section.

Although Joe did not specify where the photos were taken, the Jonas Brothers’ last tour was in Denver, Colorado, on Thursday night. The musician has continued to perform across the US amid his divorce from Turner, 27, which was revealed earlier this month.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner break silence on divorce: ‘This is truly a mutual decision’

On September 5, Joe filed for divorce in Miami Game of Thrones actress, 27, confirmed documents obtained by PEOPLE.

The divorce petition claims that “the marriage between the parties has irretrievably dissolved” and states that Joe and Turner have a prenuptial agreement.

Representatives for the couple did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on the split at the time. TODAY was the first to report the submission. Joe and Turner married in 2019 after dating for three years. The couple shares two daughters, Willa, 3, and D., 14 months, according to the divorce papers.

After the divorce, Joe appeared on stage without his wedding ring, including in Las Vegas on September 8, during a performance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The following Saturday, the band performed at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and previously performed the group’s song “Hesitate” from their 2019 album. Happiness beginswho was inspired by Turner, 27, Joe – who was again without his wedding ring – took a moment to address the crowd.

“It’s been a crazy week,” he said, as fans cheered.

“I’m just saying, if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?” continued the musician. “Thank you all for your love and support for me and my family. I love you.”

Joe and Turner spoke about their divorce in a joint statement on social media on September 6. “A statement from the two of us: ‘After four wonderful years of marriage, we have jointly decided to amicably end our marriage,’ they both shared on Instagram.

“There are many speculative stories as to why, but this is truly a mutual decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” the statement concluded.
