Joey Grazaidei made up for putting his foot in his mouth.
During a recent visit to the White House, Bachelor lead, 28, issued a heartfelt apology to press secretary Karine Jean Pierre when the duo stopped for a photo of Ruth Bader Ginsburg while touring the facilities.
Earlier this month, Grazaidei went viral after mistaking Gypsy Rose Blanchard for the late Supreme Court Justice while playing a game called “How Online Are You” in a video for Betches.
When the interviewer showed the tennis pro a photo of Blanchard, he thought, “I know who that person is. Is that Ruth? No? Is that Jinsburg? Ginsburg? Something like that.”
“Am I wrong?” he paused as he began to guess himself. “I know something happened to her when she went to jail for her mom.”
Graziadei made one last effort, suggesting, “Ruth Ginsburg. I don’t know what I’m saying.”

In a TikTok posted Thursday, Pierre asked the reality star to identify Ginsburg after teasing him about being “good with names.”
“I’m so sorry,” she told Graziadei immediately. “It was a bad time. I knew it wasn’t really her in the photo, Ruth came to mind. I know I won’t live it down.”
“I know what a legend she is and how much she’s done for, you know, equal rights and women’s empowerment,” he added.
Ginsburg served on the Supreme Court for 27 years before her death in September 2020 at the age of 87. As for Blanchard, the convicted murderer was released from prison after serving eight years for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
Graziadei, who finished runner-up to Charity Lawson’s season Bachelorhe is currently on his own journey to find love Bachelor.

Bachelor Joey Graziadei confronts women about something that ‘scares’ him: ‘I’m taking this seriously’
While speaking with PEOPLE in January, he admitted that while he’s excited and hopeful for his journey, he also wants to be realistic.
“My biggest worry is just, honestly, that I didn’t make the right decision or find the right person, or maybe just end up in a way that doesn’t end up with my forever person,” he admitted. “Honestly, that’s my real fear.”
“[I want] someone who’s funny, honest, definitely successful in his own way, just seems like he has a sense of poise,” Graziadei said. “I could list so many characteristics, but I also say a lot, I just feel like I’ll just know, and there’s going to be some kind of energy or intangible that I can’t even explain.”
He added: “I just want someone who’s really excited to share our lives together, and excited for me.”
