Joey Graziadei's Fiancée Reveals the 'Great' Advice Dotun Olubeko Gave Her Regarding Bachelor Engagement (Exclusive)

After accepting Joey Graziadei’s final rose, Kelsey Anderson shares advice from someone who’s been there and done that.

In the last episode of the series on Monday Bachelor, Joey chose Kelsey and got down on one knee to propose to the project manager in Tulum, Mexico. Now that she answered Joey’s million dollar question with an enthusiastic yes, Kelsey exclusively told PEOPLE the advice she got from Charity Lawson’s fiancé, Dotun Olubek, regarding their engagement.

“Dotun gave me great advice,” she reveals. “‘Just get through it without a refund.’ So I said, “No refunds here. This is irreplaceable.” So no matter what obstacles come our way, I know we’ll get through it.”

Bachelor The nation may remember before he landed the coveted lead role in season 28, Joey was a contestant on Charity’s season Bachelor. In fact, he was the runner-up to Dotun, who was chosen by the leading lady after she accepted his proposal during the last episode.

Talking about how close he and Dotun have “become”, Joey says that he and Charity have “been there for both of us”. He adds that he sought advice and “tried to rely on people who have done it and succeeded.”

“There are two sides. There’s the idea of ​​just understanding what this all looks like, and also talking to couples who have been through it,” he explains. “So we’ve been trying to do a little bit of both, and I think it’s been really helpful for us to just realize that we’re not alone.”

“This is a very unique experience, but other people have gone through it,” he adds. “They’ve come through it successfully, and we’re going to do our best to lean on them for help because they’re going to get it.”

Speaking to PEOPLE in January, Charity and Dotun said they wish Joey “nothing but the best.”

“We’ve seen how much of a lover Joey is and how much he wants his person. I believe he’ll have no problem finding it,” Charity said. “He’s an amazing person. We’re both rooting for him and rooting for his success.”
