John Gotti was born in South Bronx, New York on October 27, 1940. J. Joseph Gotti is John’s father and Fannie Gotti is his mother. Both were Italian immigrants. John was the fifth of 13 children in a family whose only source of income was his father’s erratic work as a day laborer.
