John Stamos sends Dave Coulier his love after news of his cancer diagnosis.
Coulier, 65, revealed to PEOPLE in an interview published Wednesday, Nov. 13, that he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in October after an upper respiratory infection caused his lymph nodes to swell greatly.
Hours after the news broke, Stamos, 61, shared a sweet tribute to him on Instagram, filled with various photos featuring Full house long-term friendship of the stars.

The post began with a photo of Stamos hugging Coulier, followed by a throwback photo of the two, seemingly from their days. Full housewhich ran for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. Other photos showed the two making funny faces and posing with their late co-star, Bob Saget, who died at age 65 in January 2022.
“My brother since day one. I love you @dcoulier and I will be with you through it all,” Stamos captioned the post.

Coulier’s wife, Melissa Bring, responded in the comments section, “I love you PP – thank you for your daily support and love!! ❤️❤️”
Fans also commented on Coulier and Stamos’ close bond after working on the beloved sitcom, with one social media user writing: “These relationships that start at work and end in LIFETIME friendships are extremely rare.. and quite beautiful. Love the brotherhood between you guys 🍻 ”

Coulier shared with PEOPLE that Stamos will visit him on Saturday, Nov. 16 — one day after chemotherapy.
“He says, ‘If you just want to sleep, I’ll just sit next to you or if you want to listen to music or just talk, whatever.’ And I just say, ‘Wow. It’s like a brother. That’s a real brother,’ Coulier said.
Stamos, together with colleagues Full house actresses Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, Scott Weinger and series creator Jeff Franklin were all part of the group message Coulier sent to share the news of his diagnosis.

The actor told PEOPLE that he wanted to make sure his co-stars heard the news from him and noted that everyone’s response was “immediate.”

“It was just that outpouring, ‘I’ll be there. Just tell me the time and I know you’re in good hands with Mel, but what can we do?’ It’s really overwhelming the love we have for each other,” he said. “We’ve been there for each other for so many years and it’s pretty remarkable.”
