The family of late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau is spending quality time together.
On Saturday, October 5, Johnny’s widow, Meredith Gaudreau — who is currently pregnant with their third child — shared some snaps on her Instagram Stories of a “super fan” day with her kids and her late husband’s family.
The first photo shows the couple’s daughter Noa (2) and son Johnny (7 months) sitting on the lap of the late athlete’s mother Jane Gaudreau and sister Katie Gaudreau on RTV.

The Gaudreaus’ day in nature comes shortly after Johnny’s family asked a New Jersey court to stop the potential release of any records related to the tragic deaths of him and his brother Matthew Gaudreau on August 29.
On Thursday, October 3, NJ.com reported that the family filed a lawsuit hoping to prevent any potential release of records related to their deaths, a request that comes after images of police memos taken at the crime scene of the brothers’ deaths were shared on social networks.
Johnny and Matthew were killed when an allegedly drunk driver hit them while riding their bikes together near their New Jersey hometown the night before they were to be best men at their sister Katie’s wedding.

At the brothers’ funeral on September 9, Meredith announced that she was pregnant with her and Johnny’s third child.
“John and I had the best six months as a family of four. This will forever be the best six months of my life,” she said at the service, per ABC News. “There’s one week I’ll cherish forever – it’ll be my favorite week of my life out of those six months. We’re actually a family of five. I’m nine weeks pregnant with our third baby.”
Matthew’s widow Madeline is also pregnant and expecting to give birth to her and Matthew’s first child together later this year.
