The dancer previously told PEOPLE in November 2023 that she wasn’t sure if she was ready to get serious with anyone.

“Nick said I can be a loving idiot until I’m 21, so I’ve got six more months,” Siwa said of the advice she got from her Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test co-star Nick Viall.

Colleague Tyler Cameron added that she should wait even longer – until she turns 28 – before settling down.

“I have two older brothers here who will hold me accountable,” said Fr Bachelor alum at the time. “And I think between the two of them, one of them will hold me accountable and the other one will be like, ‘No, he’s pulling his ass out. Go have fun.’ ”

During her chat with PEOPLE, Siwa also talked about growing up in the limelight after starring in reality shows like Dance moms and has his own children’s themed YouTube channel. “It’s interesting. I feel like a lot of child stars start out as characters and then grow into an adult like themselves,” she said. “While for me I was always myself.”

“So it was interesting to figure out to make this transition while being true to myself, while being artistic,” she added.

Siwa also noted that she is proud of the way she grew up. “I think we succeeded and I think it definitely makes a big statement. Maybe even too big a statement, but I think it’s going to be a good one,” she said.
