Jon Hamm Says the Holidays Are ‘Doubly Nice’ After Marrying Anna Osceola (Exclusive)

Jon Hamm celebrates his first holidays as a newlywed!

The Grimsburg star, 52, tells PEOPLE he’s excited to start new Christmas traditions after tying the knot with wife Anna Osceola this summer.

“The best part of it is being together. That’s really it,” he shared. “It’s doubly nice that we’re married now and it’s really fun, but hopefully it continues and you start making new traditions with your family and all that stuff, and that’s the best.”

The Crazy people The alum adds that the couple’s home is filled with holiday cheer, saying, “We decorate. That’s really nice. Part of it, setting the house up where the tree is up and the stockings are hung and the presents are hidden and all that stuff is really fun, and it also just smells good.”

He continues: “I don’t really understand how it works, but maybe it’s the candles, but I don’t know. Somehow it’s just starting to smell really good. The food starts and the candles go and the tree is there, [it’s] only [a] good smell. For me, it represents all the things that the holiday season brings.”

In June, the couple tied the knot in Anderson Canyon in Big Sur, California — the same place they are Crazy people finale taped — four months after PEOPLE when Hamm and Osceola got engaged.

Allegedly, they first met on the set of the AMC series Crazy people in 2015, before being seen together on several occasions and romantically linked in 2020. The couple made their red carpet debut in March 2022 at the Oscars after party.

Hamm opened up about his relationship with Osceola in a September 2022 interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show, revealing that he could see himself married.

“This is all part of what I’m saying. This is another place in my life where I feel very settled and comfortable. I’m in a relationship right now and it’s comfortable,” he said, later adding that he was able to sit down and start “really thinking about all those things, it made the relationship I’m in now even more meaningful and opened up the possibility of things like marriage, having children, defining a new version of happiness, life, well-being.”

“It sounds funny and stuff, but it’s real and rather, it’s what I work for. What else is there besides that?” he added before confirming that he was “very” in love.
