Jonathan Cheban, known as the God of Food, is a reality television personality, businessman and former journalist from the United States. The Moldovan grew up in Fort Lee, New Jersey and is of Russian Jewish descent. His first appearance in the limelight was on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spin-off series. In one of the episodes of the series, Cheban is forced to admit his sexual orientation. Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband, questioned Cheban’s sexual orientation in 2012, hinting that he might not be outspoken. For her part, Cheban describes Kardashian’s ex-husband as ‘gay’.
In 2011, shortly after the dramatic encounter between Kardashian and Humphries, the HollywoodCIA contacted Cheban outside a bar and asked him what he thought about being labeled as gay by Kris Humphries. “I don’t know, maybe he’s gay,” Cheban said.
