Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel ‘Got Moves’ in Halloween Costumes

Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel are certainly getting into the Halloween spirit with their costume choices this year.

The couple, who have been together since 2019 and got engaged in August, stepped out in Los Angeles in fun spooky holiday costumes.

“Didn’t you know? Little Red Riding Hood has moves,” the New girl alum, 43, described in a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday.

Deschanel danced the night away in the backyard of the house in one of the videos she shared on social media.

In the first picture of the carousel, she and she Property Brothers beau, 45, stood side by side on a lighted, multi-colored floor installation at a house Halloween party.

She shared multiple pictures from the fun-filled night on her Instagram Story, including one of her and her husband-to-be on the dance floor. “Dance party about to start,” she captioned one photo.

Although they posed lovingly in the photos, the couple did not dress alike for the occasion.

Deschanel wore a red mini dress with red leggings underneath and a red hooded cape to complete her Little Red Riding Hood ensemble.

The HGTV talent looked like an elf, but clarified his costume on his Instagram account.

“I know what you’re thinking…a bit tall for an elf, isn’t it? 😅 #Link #LegendofZelda,” wrote one of the three uploads.

He jokingly referred to the fact that their costumes are not exactly on the same page.

“I know what you’re thinking… What Little Red Riding Hood and Zelda crossover is this?” Scott captioned himself and his bride-to-be in the following post.

The third Instagram feed was a joint post by his twin brother Drew Scott that featured the television personality siblings and their significant others, as well as Drew, 45, and wife Linda Phan’s one-year-old son Parker.

“Just trying out some new looks…maybe they’ll stick 😆 Happy Halloween 👻,” she captioned the group photo.

Jonathan and Deschanel seem to be enjoying all things Halloween, as the duo took a themed trip to Disneyland for the 2021 holiday, with Dwarf the actress shared pictures of the date in an Instagram post at the time.

The couple also celebrated the holiday in 2022. Jonathan was the Marvel character Dr. Strange, while Deschanel wore the Lady Guinevere costume.

Deschanel posted some adorable photos of her and Jonathan on Instagram with the caption, “Dr. Strange and the princess enter a haunted house… what could possibly go wrong? 🤔.”

Jonathan also shared pictures of the couple’s costumes. Alongside his Instagram photos, he wrote: “I always thought Dr. Strange could manipulate time… clearly he would come back and save Lady Guinevere. Happy Halloween everyone… stay safe out there 🎃.”
