He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Osmania University, Andhra Pradesh from 2001 to 2005. Later, he entered IIM Indore to pursue MBA degree. From 2005 to 2007, he studied PGDM (Management, Marketing, Strategy, Supply Chain) from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. While pursuing PGDM, he represented L’Oréal India at the L’Oréal Brandstorm in Paris. He was then declared the second (national) runner-up. He is also a regional champion at Dabur Navigator and a finalist at Ogilvy Concept2Creative.

In 2013, Joseph met Indian wedding planner Devika Narain in Bali while they were working on a wedding project. They met again while working on a wedding project in Jaipur and became friends. Soon, they fell in love with each other. In an interview, Joseph’s wife shared her memories of dating Joseph. she says,
It’s a long journey that requires a lot of travel and coordination. I live in New Delhi and Joseph lives in Mumbai. We had to find several excuses to meet up, both in a new country and in our hometowns. At the end of 2016, we decided to get married. “

The couple got engaged in December 2016 and tied the knot in a private ceremony at Devika’s farmhouse on February 17, 2017. Joseph said of marriage in an interview:
One of the biggest influencing factors is our choice of wedding photographer. We wanted Canada’s Erica Mann and Lenny Mann (also our friends) to capture these special moments. Since it would be very cold in their home country at that time, it also meant they had relatively few work commitments. “

In June 2007, he joined Colgate-Palmolive New York as a management trainee and was promoted to regional manager of customer development in June 2008. He then started working as a Business Development Manager at Elephant Design Pvt. Ltd. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra. In 2010, he quit his job and became a full-time wedding photographer. In September 2012, he co-founded the wedding photography company “Stories by Joseph Radhik”. He is also one of the founders of Photography School “PEP Inc.” in Mumbai in 2016.
