The professional’s parents are Warrick and Kim Giddey, who gave birth to him on October 10, 2002. Besides him, they have three other daughters, Hannah, Neve and Ella. Josh’s father, Warrick Giddey (born December 16, 1967), is a former player turned coach. He was a National Basketball League (NBL) player for the Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne Tigers.
One of the highlights of his career was winning two NBL titles with the Tigers in 1993 and 1997. He is now the head coach of the women’s NBL1 South club Melbourne Tigers. Kim, Josh’s mother, on the other hand, is no less of a gamer. She was a leading scorer for the Tigers in the Women’s National Basketball League. His three sisters are also basketball fans. Hannah (born June 12, 2001) played college basketball at Oral Roberts University before transferring to Southern Nazarene University.
