In 1997, she interned with WTEM on ‘The Tony Kornheiser Show’ and ‘The Donnie Simpson Morning Show’ on WPGC-FM radio. She began her career as a sports anchor/reporter at the CBS affiliate in Coos Bay, Oregon in 2000. In 2005, she joined Fox 31 in Denver, Colorado. She auditioned for the same job in 2003, but didn’t get it then.
She wrote a number of important stories during her six years working with them. They include NFL players who tested positive for steroids under the league’s policy in October 2008, as well as NFL stars Ricky Williams and Travis Henry. He tested positive for marijuana in July 2008. Additionally, Charles Woodson and the Packers agreed to a contract extension (September 2010). In 2010, her final year with Fox, she worked as a reporter for Showtimes Inside the NFL.
She began a new chapter in her career when she accepted a job offer from ESPN and moved to Chicago in 2011. She was named the first female National NFL Insider in August 2015.
