Career
Juan Dixon began his studies at the University of Maryland. He was later discovered by head coach Gary Williams at an AAU tournament in Georgia. Similarly, Williams stood there watching Dixon jump for the ball while trailing by 20 points. Williams then praised the effort. Maryland in the 2001/02 season. started as the second-ranked team in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
