Recent spoilers provide some insight into the content of the chapter, which focuses on explaining Gojo’s use of the Reverse Cursed Technique and the battle that is ongoing between him and Sukuna.
In the previous chapter, Gojo withstood Sukuna’s relentless attacks while buying time for his Haunted Technique to recover. He used Simple Domain to defend against some attacks, and later used Cursed Technique Reversal: Red on Sukuna. The attack pushed Sukuna hard into his domain’s shrine, potentially causing significant damage.
Chapter 227 of Jujutsu Kaisen begins with Kusakabe thinking about how Gojo was able to cure his Cursed Technique by using the Reverse Cursed Technique. Yuta speculates that it might be similar to an overheated engine taking time to cool down, though the exact mechanism used by Gojo remains uncertain. It can be concluded that the process is similar to how a colder climate helps the engine to cool down faster.
