Julia Fox Channels ‘Western Bride,’ Complete With Wedding Veil, at Her Very First Sundance (Exclusive)

Julia Fox channeled the Wild West while attending her first Sundance Film Festival.

The 33-year-old actress arrived in Park City, Utah for the premiere of her upcoming film, Presence. Steven Soderbergh’s film stars Fox and Lucy Liu and follows a family that moves into a new home inhabited by supernatural beings.

Fox exclusively told PEOPLE at the festival’s NFT Lounge that she’s never been to the festival or to Salt Lake City, but she’s “just taking it all in.”

“I love the western mountain atmosphere. I think it’s very romantic,” adds Fox. “I like that.”

As for her all-denim look, she tells PEOPLE that she “went for a ‘Western Bride’ look with denim and a veil and everything.” The Down the drain the author says her outfit was “channeling” an “ode to Utah.”

The Uncut gems the actress arrived wearing an oversized denim jacket with exaggerated shoulder pads. The boxy jacket was styled with a pair of jeans that doubled as a pair of shoes. Medium colored denim pants were sewn into red high heels with pointy tips.

She completed the look with a wedding veil with which she posed during the second day of the festival. The white veil was paired with a midi length white suede and faux fur coat. Her latest accessories included a small white leather baguette bag and a chunky white leather belt with a large heart shaped buckle that said “Mother”.

Fox’s “Western Bride” look was topped off with bright and light makeup that echoed her signature winged black eyeliner. She had a white shimmery eye shadow that complimented her rosy pink cheeks and pink lip gloss.

The actress reveals to PEOPLE that her visit is a “really quick” trip — but she’s still rocking a few Utah-inspired looks.

On Friday morning, she wore a white knit bikini layered over a black catsuit with a white faux fur coat. Fox completed the look with a pair of Sorel Caribou snow boots, a KNWLS bag and Gentle Monster sunglasses.

Earlier this month, Fox sported another wedding-inspired look. On January 11, she arrived in a restored white wedding dress at the Sotheby’s exhibition in New York.

The dress had a huge cutout in the middle that revealed the abs, the upper half of the thighs and a black thong. She completed the look with a wedding veil with a ruffled edge.
