Julia Fox Says There's a 'Shrine' in Her NYC Home Dedicated to the Ghost That Lives There: 'She Watches Over Us'

“I believe in other dimensions,” Fox said of her paranormal resident, whom she named “Beauty.”

Julia Fox just moved into a new home, but she didn’t know that she would also have a new roommate.

In an interview with vulture, Fox revealed that she not only believes in ghosts, but also has them in her house. She said that when she was first “attracted” to the home, she felt that there was a spiritual being there.

“I was drawn to this home recently, and then when I bought it, I went downstairs and there was a whole shrine set up for the spirit that lived there,” she said. “Even before I saw the shrine, I knew there was a spirit pulling me to the house because every time I went it would be, like, on a full moon and it was always magical, mystical, supernatural.”

She added: “I believe in other dimensions.”

The model, 33, bought a house in New York in 2023. Since then, she said the spirit – which she said is called “Beauty” – has been ruling over her and her son.

“She’s the matriarch of the home and looks out for us,” Fox explained.

Life seems to imitate art, as Fox was in Park City this week at the Sundance Film Festival to promote her new film, Presence. Steven Soderbergh’s film stars Fox and Lucy Liu and follows a family that moves into a new home inhabited by supernatural beings.

In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this week, Down the drain the author said she “got it all figured out” as she explained how she dresses for Utah weather.

“I love the western mountain atmosphere. I think it’s very romantic,” Fox said. “I like that.”

She said she “went for a ‘Western Bride’ look with denim and a veil and everything” that day. She was dressed in denim from head to toe, and kept warm with a white fur coat and veil.
