Jungkook and Usher make a smooth duo!

On Friday, the BTS member and the “Good Good” singer joined forces for a remix of Jungkook’s “Standing Next to You.”

“Standing Next to You” is on the K-pop star’s debut album golden. In the new version of the track — which was released earlier this week — Usher adds smooth vocals to the track.

26-year-old singer published golden in November. On the same day, he released a music video for the song “Standing Next to You”.

Jungkook — who is known as BTS’ “Golden Maknae” or “Golden Youngest” — aims to highlight his journey from BTS band member to solo star on his debut album. It also features collaborations with stars such as Jack Harlow, Latto and DJ Snake, while the album is produced by Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.

The press release also states that “through the order of the songs, Jungkook expresses the flow of emotions that accompany changes in relationships. The first half of the album presents songs with light melodies depicting someone falling in love, while the second half presents songs that feel heavier, dealing with the emotions after breaks.”

In July, the singer made his solo debut at good morning america’s Series of summer concerts.

Jungkook performed his single “Seven”, his first official solo release; as well as “Euphoria,” Jungkook’s fan-favorite song from the group’s 2018 album. Love yourself: answer; and BTS’ 2020 smash hit “Dynamite.”
