Bam Margera has a big supporter on her journey to sobriety — Mark Wahlberg.
The Fool star, 44, shared an Instagram video he received of Wahlberg giving him some words of encouragement as he passed another major sobriety milestone.
“I’m so happy for you and your sobriety,” Wahlberg could be seen saying in the short clip. “Wow, 120 days. God bless you brother, I hope you and your family are well and I look forward to connecting with you soon.”
“I’ve always been such a huge fan and I’m looking forward to seeing you bro,” he added.

Margera sent his own message full of gratitude Father Stu the actor captioned the post, writing “thank you Mark Wahlberg for the positive words! Who counts more when you’re happy 🤟🏻”
Margera admitted to TMZ that the pair didn’t really know each other and had only met a few times at industry shows and parties, but he was willing to accept Wahlberg’s offer to meet.
The TV personality, who faced legal trouble earlier this year, said he credited his sobriety to his girlfriend Dannii, as well as the gym and love of skateboarding, and thanked Dannii for helping him stay on track. He posted several new videos on his Instagram account showing his commitment to a new, healthy lifestyle.
Earlier this week, he posted videos of himself skateboarding at a skate park in Texas, showing off his tricks. He also posted a video sharing a look at his fitness routine with his girlfriend, which includes yoga and working out with yoga balls.

All the hard work seems to have paid off as Margera told TMZ he was recently allowed to see his 5-year-old son Phoenix again and is planning a trip to California to visit him.
Marger’s estranged wife Nicole “Nikki” Boyd filed for divorce in February after separating in September 2021. She requested legal and physical custody of the couple’s son.
The lifestyle change is a big one for the star after she faced domestic violence charges earlier this year. In March, he was arrested in San Diego County for allegedly kicking a woman in Escondido, California. He was also ordered to stand trial in July after allegedly physically assaulting his brother Jess Margera.

Margera was also noticeably absent from 2022’s Jackass Forever after she was fired. The dismissal led to a wrongful termination lawsuit that Margera eventually dismissed in April 2022.
“It’s really heartbreaking,” Knoxville told Variety in January 2022 of Margery’s absence from all but one stunt in the film. “I love Bam. We all love Bam. He’s our brother, you know? Just hope he takes it upon himself to get the help he needs because we all care about him so much.”
