NASCAR star Justin Haley and Haley Haley share a look at their “fairy tale” wedding.
The couple exchanged vows on Nov. 17 after getting engaged on April 10, 2023. On their way back from a race in Bristol, TN, the couple stopped at Chestoa View Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway where the NASCAR driver, 24, placed Question.
The two tied the knot at the Grand Bohemian in Charlotte, N.C. Haley, 25, tells PEOPLE that the couple chose to celebrate their new chapter in Charlotte because they live out of town and wanted to “get married close to a place we can call home.”
She adds, “We share a lot of Charlotte memories, including where we first met, the very romantic Charlotte Airport.”

In total, Justin and his now-wife invited about 100 guests — including NASCAR senior chaplain Billy Mauldin and driver Kaz Grala — to celebrate their joyous occasion.
Mauldin also officiated the couple’s ceremony, with the bride walking down the aisle to an instrumental song by composer Michael Giacchino of Up result titled “Things We’ve Been Doing”.
Before the ceremony, the newlyweds exchanged their handwritten vows in private. “We both wanted the intimacy and personal touch of handwritten vows in addition to the traditional vows we made at the ceremony,” shares Haley.

Haley shone in a Mikaella by Paloma Blanca wedding dress. The bride’s parents gave her a dress that meant a lot to her. Haley told PEOPLE that she “wanted to stay in [the gown] all night” and “I wanted to wear it in every picture.”
The dress included a strapless satin faille dress with buttons down the back to the waist with an asymmetrical bow, a slit on the skirt and pockets. The bride reveals that she “loved the details while keeping it simple and classic.”
The entire “romantic and whimsical” celebration was planned by Jackie Fogartie, who “brought the couple’s dreams to life in the most stunning ways.” By using bold colors and a candlelit ceremony, the couple managed to create a unique and romantic setting for their special day.

In addition to creating a unique ceremony, the couple took advantage of their unique situation with the bride’s new last name being the same as her first name.
“It’s not every day that a bride gets to marry someone whose last name is the same as her first name, so we wanted to have fun with that,” Haley shares with PEOPLE. “We both wanted to include Haley Haley in some of the details of our wedding. She adds, “We even had Haley² on napkins!”
Haley² napkins were used as guests dined on petite filets of beef and butter-poached lobster tails, along with a four-tier creme brûlée cake. And for those who wanted to please their sweet tooth a little more, there was also a s’mores station at the reception.

Haley, who joined Justin for their first dance to Tyler Childers’ “In Your Love,” says the celebration was their “own version of a fairy tale.” She explains: “We wanted our day to be small and exclusive, elegant but not extravagant, with our love as the highlight.” In addition to celebrating ahead of the holidays, the two can’t wait to “celebrate a snowy Minnesota Christmas with Haley’s family.”
After their holiday celebrations, Haley admits that “after traveling 38 weekends in a row” during Justin’s NASCAR season, they are “excited to spend some time at home.” He adds that they plan to celebrate their wedding in Greece next summer for their honeymoon.
