Antoni Porowski and Kevin Harrington Split and End Their Engagement After 4 Years of Dating (Exclusive)

Antoni Porowski and Kevin Harrington break off their engagement.

“After much discussion and consideration during the wedding planning process, Antoni and Kevin have amicably decided to part ways,” a rep for Porowski told PEOPLE exclusively. “Although they still have a lot of respect for each other, as they talked more about the future, they realized they were on different paths.”

“They both remain focused on work and are surrounded by friends during this time,” the representative added.

Porowski — who will host the upcoming series It doesn’t taste like home on National Geographic — and his longtime partner got engaged in November 2022 after three years of dating. To announce the engagement, the A strange eye star shared a selfie of the two on Instagram with a caption mocking the photo’s grainy quality.

“I really hope the wedding photos are less blurry 🙏🏼,” he wrote.

Harrington, director of brand strategy, also shared the celebratory news on his Instagram. Along with two cute photos of the couple – including a shirtless selfie – he also posted a third photo of them in zombie make-up. “Officially together until we look like the last #engaged pic,” he joked.

In March 2020, the food and beverage expert filmed A strange eye in Austin, and Harrington was visiting him from New York. His trip to Austin was only supposed to last four days, but ended up being extended.

“There was a shutdown in New York — there was no toilet paper — so we decided to stay in Austin and adopted the dog,” Porowski told PEOPLE. “We went from being in a relationship and everyone having their own apartments and not having a dog, to living in the same place with a dog.”

Antoni Porowski It doesn't taste like home

National Geographic

Porowski’s upcoming series It doesn’t taste like home, created by Gordon Ramsay’s studio, will see the star travel to destinations such as South Korea, Italy, New York and Texas with a celebrity guest whose family hails from the location. There, the two will learn about culinary traditions and immerse themselves in the intersection between culture and food.

“I’m so grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, with some wonderful friends, new and old, traveling the world, making up for all those times I skipped geography in high school, to explore food traditions and cultures,”, Porowski said in a statement.

A strange eye premieres its 8th season on January 24, 2024 on Netflix.
