Justin Long celebrates Kate Bosworth’s birthday!
The actor, 45, posted a romantic tribute to Bosworth as she turned 41 on Tuesday and appeared to suggest the couple are hoping for children in the future.
“You are 41 years old! 💛🎂🥳,” Long wrote in a lengthy caption alongside a montage of clips of himself and Bosworth – whom he married in May 2023.
“When you were 40 years old, you swam under a waterfall in the rainforest. You fell in love with your first silent retreat and the last Beatles song… you made so many people smile with your warmth and curiosity. You rode horses again and they helped you get well.”
“…One day our kids might ask me, ‘Dad, why did you write nasty things about mom on that old Instagram app? The one you won’t let us in?’” Long added later in his message. “And I’ll say, ‘Well, _____, because there’s a lot of toxic stuff on the Internet, but your mom always inspires me to put good things into the world.’ ”

The Jeepers Creepers star added: “Also, I know reading those old posts touched her and made her smile. And I’ve been so blessed to experience so many fun, wonderful things in this life – things I’ll never be able to properly express my gratitude for — but of all those joys, touching my mom and making her laugh are my favorites.”
He continued, “They might say, ‘Yay!’ Or, ‘Why?’ And I’d say, ‘Because she finished all of your father’s favorite love songs. Even the ones he hadn’t thought about since he was a kid.”
The star concluded: “She is simply the best 💛🧚.”

In the video, which is accompanied by Billianne’s “Simply the Best,” Long and Bosworth are captured on vacation together, hugging by a waterfall, sitting on a beach at sunset, and snuggling in bed with their dog Happy.
Other clips show Long helping Boswoth cut her birthday cake, the couple with Christmas stockings and them smiling together on their wedding day. The final photo shows Long and Bosworth holding their wedding notices as the words ‘Just Married’ appear.

Bosworth responded to her husband’s tribute by commenting: “This video + message flooded my mobile makeup @justinlong 💛 Thank you for loving me with such kindness and generosity. What a life, what a great, beautiful adventure. Wherever we are, I am home with you.”
The couple confirmed their relationship in April 2022 and became Instagram official a month later. In March 2023, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple was engaged.
