Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake honored their “bromance” with a new song!
The couple was revealed in the last episode The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that they collaborated on a song that will be featured on Fallon’s upcoming Christmas album — something the late-night host, 49, described as an ode to their friendship.
“We went to Electric Lady [to record it],” Timberlake shared on the Monday, Sept. 16 episode, before jokingly adding, “We had no business recording this song in such a fantastic, world-famous studio.”
“What are you talking about? This is a high quality song,” Fallon replied.

The comedian went on to say that Electric Lady’s studio was “amazing” and that it was “the best place to make a record”. He explained: “The legends were there and then they let me in and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ So I say, ‘Justin, I can’t believe I’m in this thing.’ ”
“Also, the session was probably only supposed to last two to three hours. We were there for about eight hours. Eight, nine o’clock,” recalled the 43-year-old “Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer.
Fallon admitted that it took them so long to record because they were “crying from laughing” and described his song – called “You’ll Be There” – as a “crazy song”, noting that it’s “kind of a bromance thing”. .

“I mean, it’s – it’s us,” Timberlake said before the pair burst into laughter.
“We’re saying, like, ‘Hey, you’re going to be there. You’ll be with me this Christmas,’ Fallon added, before asking the audience if they wanted to hear any of that.

Fallon then pressed play on his computer as the first notes of the ukelele could be heard, prompting Grammy winner Timberlake to say, “Nothing says Christmas like a ukelele.”
“This already started with a foul ball,” Fallon said as he burst into laughter again.
The pair could then be heard singing the lyrics: “Tell me you’ll be there/Whenever the snow starts to fall … Tell me you’ll be there/The only thing on my wish list is to be home for Christmas.”

Timberlake and Fallon got up to dance to the song before Fallon finally stopped it, noting that it was “just a taste” of what’s to come. “It’s a jam,” Timberlake added.
Fallon and Timberlake have been friends for more than 20 years after first meeting at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards where they bonded over their nervousness while performing on stage. Since then, the duo has not been afraid to show their friendship on social networks and on Tonight’s show. Timberlake has made numerous appearances on the NBC talk show and the pair have done everything from performing together and creating fun music videos to playing the “Best Friends Game.”
Fallon’s new Christmas album will be released on November 1st.
