Justin Timberlake Announces New Forget Tomorrow World Tour

Justin Timberlake is going on tour!

The musician, 42, who released his new single “Selfish” and revealed the title of his upcoming album on Thursday, announced he is “going on tour,” revealing his new Forget Tomorrow world tour on Thursday’s episode. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“You performed in Memphis, you destroyed it. It was a free show,” Fallon, 49, said during a conversation between the two on the show.

“I did. My hometown, yeah,” Timberlake said.

“That’s where you started. That’s where you played ‘Selfish’ for the first time,” Fallon continued before mentioning Timberlake’s upcoming free show at Irving Plaza in New York.

“Shall we tell them?” asked the actor and singer before the host asked “Do you have anything to-“.

“Jimmy’s going to open,” the “Suit & Tie” star said with a smile.

Justin Timberlake Releases ‘Selfish’ As He Announces Upcoming Album — Watch Music Video

“No, that’s not what they want to hear,” Fallon laughed before asking, “Are you still going to perform?”

“Um, maybe,” Timberlake grinned at the crowd as people started cheering.

“Do you have anything to announce?” Fallon continued to which Timberlake responded, “No no no. I have nothing to announce. We’re announcing it,” while holding up his upcoming album Everything I thought it was.

“No no no. How about something extra?” Fallon asked again. However, Timberlake insisted that he is “still putting together the set list for Irving Plaza.”

“I’m just saying that there might be something that the audience would want to hear if you said the right thing,” Fallon said as he began shouting amid cheers. “People are watching from home, they can go to justintimberlake.com and grab something if they want something.”

“Is there anything you would like to announce?” the broadcaster shouted before the drum beat.

“What’s going on right now?” Timberlake said with a confused look. “Ah that,” he added when Fallon showed him the back of the card.

“Oh yeah, I’m going on tour,” Timberlake finally revealed as the crowd cheered and he and Fallon laughed.

Fallon then revealed that the new tour was a “world tour” called “Forget Tomorrow.” [World] tour.”

Performances will begin on April 29, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada, with tickets on sale at Timberlake’s fan club on January 29, Citi and Verizon pre-sales on January 30, and general sales starting on February 2.

Justin Timberlake recorded 100 songs for his new album ‘Incredibly Honest’: ‘It’s My Best Work’

The songwriter’s latest tour announcement and release of “Selfish” comes on the heels of recent news that his new album Everything I thought it was — the creation of which he discussed with Fallon on Thursday and revealed that he wrote 100 songs for it — is set to be released on March 15. Timberlake will also be the musical guest at Saturday night live this weekend, with host Dakota Johnson.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram on Thursday, Timberlake shared videos of his time with Fallon. In one clip, reposted to the singer’s Story from the Fallon Tonight Instagram account, Fallon turned around before his guest peeked into the room. “When you hear @justintimberlake release his new single ‘Selfish’ #FallonTonight,” the caption read as the video played over a soothing music score.

Meanwhile, in another video Timberlake reposted on his Story, the pair joined The Roots to sing a medley of Timberlake’s songs starting with his new single “Selfish”. They then went down memory lane singing many of the *NSYNC alum’s hits, including “Suit and Tie,” “Señorita,” and “My Love.”

Fallon and Timberlake then entertained followers in another video the singer shared on his Instagram on Thursday. In the video, Fallon appears to walk like a penguin while Timberlake looks on. The singer then gave the host a slight nudge as they made their way down the hall before they both excitedly said “It’s going great!”

“Back to our bulls—,” Timberlake’s caption read as the video played to a version of Toy Story’s “You Got a Friend in Me.”
