Jyoti Yadav is an Indian police officer of Punjab cadre 2019 and currently serves as the police chief of Mansa city. She is famous for being the fiancée of Harjot Singh Baines, Cabinet Minister for School Education in the Government of Punjab.

Jyoti Yadav, also known as Jyoti Singh Nuniwaal, was born on Thursday, November 26, 1987 in Gurugram, Haryana (age 35; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Jyoti attended Sherwood Convent School in Gurgaon. Thereafter, she received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. In 2019, Jyoti secured 437 rank in the civil services examination and became an IPS officer of Punjab cadre.

Jyoti Yadav came into the limelight in 2022 after her public feud with AAP MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina. Apparently, China accused Jyoti of carrying out raids in her assembly area without providing her with any prior information. Yadav, who was then the assistant commissioner of police in Ludhiana, said she was instructed by the then Ludhiana police commissioner to carry out raids against anti-social elements.
