Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn will soon be a party of five – and their daughters can’t wait.
The country star, 30, told Laverne Cox during Sunday’s 2024 People’s Choice Awards that daughters Kingsley, 4, and Kodi, 2, are “so excited” to be getting a little brother this year.
“The oldest you know is always touching my wife’s belly and I’m so happy we’re adding to the family,” Brown said.
The “Be Like That” singer appreciated the awards show giving him a change of scenery for the night.
“It just feels good to get out of the house,” he said. “I was at home and it’s just me, my wife and the babies. I feel like I’m just stuck so it feels good to get outside, get some fresh air.”

Cox, 51, asked the country artist of the year nominee for advice on anyone hoping to achieve the kind of career success he has.
“My boy Hardy said it best the other day: never have a plan B. Just always go for it if you’re going to do it,” Brown said. “So I’d say I did too. And I feel like many other people, full steam ahead.”

Kane and Katelyn, 31, announced the news of baby number 3 on Christmas Day. “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!” they wrote a joint Instagram post of Kingsley holding a sonogram.
Just over two weeks later, the couple, who married in October 2018, posted a video on Instagram revealing the baby would be a boy.
“We know if the baby in mom’s belly is a boy or a girl. Do you want to find out?” Katelyn told Kingsley in the video, explaining that she would be cutting a cake that would be either pink or blue in the middle.
The single layer cake had a “What’s the bee going to do?” inscribed with black glaze and had bees and lilies for design. When Kane saw the blue inside the cake, he smiled and raised his left fist in the air before raising his arms excitedly. He hugged Kodi tightly as the video flashed the words, “Baby boy Brown, coming in 2024.”
