When he was two years old, his family moved to Faridabad in Haryana. He completed his schooling from Vidya Mandir Public School, Sector 15A, Faridabad. After graduating in 2008, he began a career in modeling. He used to watch videos on YouTube about models’ body language. He started modeling for various clothing brands. He contacted many agencies with a few photos of himself and they suggested that he needed a portfolio to seize the huge opportunities in the modeling world; however, he had no money as he belonged to a middle-class family. So he started working in a call center to earn money in 2008. After working for 1 month and 17 days, he got 11,500 rupees from his job and 500 rupees from his father who always supported him. His portfolio is shot by renowned Delhi-based photographer Rahul Dutta. In 2010, he auditioned for Mr. India in Mumbai and made it to the top 10, after which he returned to Delhi.

Later, he auditioned for the Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai and was among the top 6 models out of 250 models. In 2011, he became a pool model for Lakme. This made him very popular in modeling circles across the country. In 2011, after getting a contract from Base Modeling Agency in Cape Town, South Africa, he moved to Mumbai and went to Johannesburg, South Africa for 3 months to work as a model. He has worked in over 350 fashion weeks and participated in Lakme Fashion Week for 10 consecutive seasons.

- He likes to drink lemon tea.
- He tested positive for Covid-19 during the second wave of Covid-19 in Mumbai. While recovering from the virus, he meditated and listened to devotional songs.
