Kacey Lee Musgraves was born on August 21, 1988 in Golden, Texas to parents Craig and Karen Musgraves. Her dad runs a small printing company in Mineola, Texas, while her mother is an artist. Born prematurely and weighing only five kilograms, Kacey has a younger sister, Kelly Christine Sutton, who is a photographer.
