The singer, 36, hit the red carpet in a show-stopping denim dress with crystal-like beading and matching blue feather sleeves for the country’s biggest night, which took place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 20.
She completed her look with her signature long hairdo with a center parting and bare bangs. Musgraves will perform her song “The Architect” from her hit album A deeper well.

The singer of the song “Deeper Well” stands out in fashion all year.
She made an impression at the Ralph Lauren New York Fashion Week show in September wearing just a necklace under her jacket.
Musgraves wore a cropped black blazer with nothing underneath to the event. She paired it with matching black pants and hinted at her western influences with statement turquoise bracelets and a horseshoe necklace. She also wore a belt with a large silver buckle.

She wore her glossy brown hair down in waves, opting for a sleek glam look with light brown eye shadow and bronze blush, along with bare lips. She was wearing a black clutch.
Also in September, Musgraves teamed up with Reformation to create a capsule collection inspired by her music and A deeper well tour.

The “earthy and pastoral” collection is “made for joy,” according to the official description. It features everything from floor-length satin dresses to denim pieces, summing up Musgraves’ love of a cottage aesthetic.
She previously told PEOPLE that her A deeper well the music video is “for witches, cottage girls, tender girls, outdoorsy ladies.”
“I just love moments in the house,” she said.
The “Cardinal” singer often embraces earth tones in her performance outfits, including performing barefoot. She performed at Saturday night live in March in a blue and white patchwork jacket dress and, especially, without shoes.

For her second performance, she wore a blue dress with an asymmetrical hemline and a plunging neckline. She wore nude knee high boots to complete this look.
The singer is also no stranger to a more casual, even witty fashion moment. In May, she took to Instagram to share a T-shirt post with her self-deprecating clapping along with a rude comment about her on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“I liked your music but your personality seems s—–,” the original post read. Musgraves replied, “It is.”
In the caption of the post, Musgraves advised her followers to “remain self-aware.”

The 58th Annual CMA Awards air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday, November 20 from 8-11pm on ABC. The show airs the next day on Hulu.
