Kaia Gerber and Ayo Edebiri have upgraded their friendship with new ink!
On Thursday, Gerber, 22, revealed in an interview with Hey! News yes she and she bottom Costar and friend Edebiri, 28, recently got matching ink.
“It’s pretty fresh,” Gerber told the outlet while on the red carpet for the premiere of her new series Palm Royale. “I went to see [Edebiri] on SNL, and she did such a wonderful job. The next day I thought she was just going to stay in bed and kind of relax after, I know, a very intense week, but she said, ‘We’re going to get a tattoo.’ ”

“And whatever she says, I do,” she added.
Edebiri host SNL for the first time on February 3, with musical guest Jennifer Lopez.
The daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford also joked about it Bear star “isn’t talking” to her following the announcement that Gerber will be reuniting with theirs bottom actress Rachel Sennott in SNL 1975 — the upcoming movie with Jason Reitman about the beginning SNL.
Edebiri is “very upset,” Gerber said with a laugh, adding, “I’m going to have to do some repairs there.”
Earlier this month, it was announced that Gerber would star in the film as Chevy Chase’s ex-wife Jacqueline Carlin — and join a young cast of comedy greats, including Nicholas Braun as Jim Henson, Dylan O’Brien as Dana Aykroyd, Lamorne Morris as Garrett Morris and Sennott as Rosie Shuster.
Gerber even asked her Palm Royale actress Kristen Wiig (who was on the long-running comedy series from 2005 to 2012) for advice and stories from her time SNL.

“Oh my God, I mean, the whole time we were filming — I’ve always been a fan of his SNLso I would always say between takes, ‘Please tell me all your stories,’ she said Party tonight at the premiere.
I was Kristen’s fan, she continued. “I think her work on that show was brilliant, so yeah, I think she gave me some tips and I’m also very excited to be going back to the 70s.”
“I just think Jason Reitman is a genius, and [it’s] such an amazing cast,” she added.

Gerber also opened Hey! News on Palm Royale premiere about working with Wiig, 50, on the set of their comedy-drama series set in the 1960s.
“I was just absorbing it all,” she told the newspaper. “What I love about this cast is that they all just lead by example. I saw professionalism. I could see that none of them took themselves too seriously.”
“We made a very entertaining show,” she pointed out.
Palm Royale streams on Apple TV+ on March 20.
