Kaia Gerber Says Mom Cindy Crawford Is ‘Like a Fine Wine’ as She Posts Throwback Birthday Snap

Kaia Gerber celebrates her mother Cindy Crawford.

The 22-year-old model posted a memory photo of Crawford on Thursday, after the supermodel and mother of two turned 58 earlier in the week.

“Like fine wine,” Kaia wrote on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo Crawford originally posted Tuesday of her blowing out the candles on a birthday cake.

The legendary fashion icon looked chic and sophisticated in a black dress and her signature voluminous hairstyle.

Holding a glass of champagne, Crawford leaned over to blow out the candles on her birthday cake, which was decorated Vogue cover with her image and text that reads, “What’s next?”

Meanwhile, the post also included a photo of Crawford as a little girl sitting next to a birthday cake, as well as an actual video of her with a purple birthday cake.

“I didn’t light the candles because it’s windy outside, but you get the idea,” Crawford said as she pretended to blow out the candles before smiling.

“Grateful for another set of birthday candles – thanks for all the love 💜🎂,” her caption read.

A host of famous friends left sweet birthday messages in Crawford’s comments section, including fellow model icons Helena Christensen, Christy Turlington and Christie Brinkley.

“Happy birthday to you beautiful, funny, smart, cool goddess and sweetest friend ❤️❤️❤️,” Christensen, 55, wrote.

In addition to Kaia, Crawford also has a son, Presley Gerber, with her husband, Rande Gerber, with whom he has been married for 25 years.

“Happy birthday to my … crazy party … hot wife @cindycrawford What a ride …” Gerber wrote on his Instagram Story on Tuesday as he shared a series of photos of his wife over the years, featuring her as a model for a shoot and recordings of the two of them.

Presley, 24, also wrote a sweet tribute to his mother, expressing his gratitude for her.

“Mom. Thank you. Thank you for all the amazing support and love you’ve shown me,” he wrote under the carousel post showing memories with Crawford.

Added Presley, who is also a model, “Thank you for being a role model. You are one of my biggest inspirations. From relationships to work, you have taught me so much. I am grateful for you every day. I have endless love for you. Happy birthday.”
