Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey welcomed a new puppy into their home!
The Meet Cute actress, 37, announced on Saturday that she and her boyfriend have adopted a new chihuahua, an older pup reportedly named Red.
The revelation came in the form of an Instagram Story of the little dog posing adorably with its tongue out, captioned “Guess it’s staying.”
In the photo, the cute dog wore a small bandana around his neck that appeared to depict cartoon animals, while posing with his ears pricked up.

In addition to an adorable portrait of her new pooch, the actress also posted photos of her and her new pal cozying up on the couch, the dog spending some time with Pelphrey, and Cuoco staring at him as he looked the other way.
“Thank you @jenconf & @lizrizomakeup for trying to find a home for this elderly person for the past few months,” Cuoco wrote on her Instagram Story. “I guess he found one LOL.”

Liz Rizo, a makeup artist tagged by Cuoco, has been posting about the pup, named Red, since July — from sharing a fundraiser for his dental work to posting a little about his origin story.
In a video posted by Rizo in September — which featured a montage of dog clips and Instagram Story posts from Cuoco — the actress’ earlier Story showed her writing that people were “desperately trying to adopt” the pup after it was “found wandering” around Los Angeles .
“We are taking care of his teeth and I will take care of the first home package and another initial treatment at the vet if needed,” Cuoco wrote at the time. “PLEASE DM Liz if you are interested in this love!”
As it turns out, Cuoco herself was interested in the dog, as Rizo wrote on Instagram over the weekend that Red had found his “forever home” with Cuoco and Pelphrey.
“Thank you for opening your home and hearts,” she wrote to the couple.

Kaley Cuoco mourns death of beloved pet horse Bella: ‘You were the horse of life’
Cuoco, who already has plenty of pups of her own, opened up to PEOPLE last month about her decision to launch her pet care brand, Oh, Norman!, and how her 7-month-old daughter Matilda is adjusting to her (then) four rescue dogs Ruby , Opal, King and Blue.
“Oh my God, she was literally thrown to the wolves,” Cuoco said.
“After she was born, I said, ‘If this child doesn’t like dogs, I might have to send her back. There’s no choice. This is your life. This is it,'” she added. “They were jumping on her. They were crawling on her. We let them lick her, kiss her. Our pediatrician said, ‘It’s OK.’ So they love her that much.”
Having already spent time with four dogs, taken her first plane ride with mom, explored the aquarium and learned all about Halloween this year, Matilda seems to be having even more fun with the newest four-legged addition to the family.
