Kaley Cuoco Says Wearing Faux Bangs to 2013 SAG Awards ‘Was the Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done’ (Exclusive)

Kaley Cuoco doesn’t hesitate when asked about a style disaster in her past.

The 38-year-old actress, who is mother to her 8-month-old daughter Matilda with actor Tom Pelphrey, vividly recalls her red carpet look at the SAG Awards in 2013. “I mean, it’s pretty big,” she tells PEOPLE for this week’s issue. “I still think this is the worst thing I’ve ever done. I added a barrette, but it was bangs.”

While she and her entire team “thought she looked so cute at home,” the style was later frowned upon. “Literally, I look at the pictures and think to myself, ‘That was the worst decision I’ve ever made,'” he adds. “It just didn’t work. It looked so fake.”

Cuoco, who just launched her Oh Norman! a line of dog products and stars in a new Prime Video movie Role playingspoke to the magazine for One Last Thing:

The last time I cried, Tom and I were sitting with Matilda and she touched both of our faces and smiled “Hi”. We looked at each other and started to cry, and he said, “Is this our life now, where we cry because of everything she does?”
