Biography/Wiki
Kalpana was born on January 22, 2001, in Sheohar district of Bihar. She is a 17-year-old student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Sheohar (Bihar). She harbored the dream of pursuing a career in medicine and therefore, after her Class 10 exams in 2016, she started preparing for the Medical Entrance Test (NEET). She studied NCERT books and coaching materials carefully and took many mock tests. In the end, her hard work paid off and she passed the exam with a score of 99.99%.

After her success, she aspired to study at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) in New Delhi. For this, she has appeared for the AIIMS entrance exam, the results of which are likely to be announced on June 18, 2018. Her second priority college was ‘Maulana Azad Medical College’ in Delhi.
She wants to pursue a MBBS and MD. After completing her studies, her goal is to help the poor and needy through free therapy.

Kalpana belonged to a Brahmin family in Sheohar district of Bihar. Her father, Rakesh Mishra, is a lecturer at the District Education and Training Institute, Sitamarhi, and her mother, Mamta Kumari, is also a teacher at Sheohar, Govt. A well-known teacher at Girls’ High School. She has an elder sister Bharti (an engineer) and an elder brother Pranay Pratap, who is a science and engineering student at IIT Guwahati. Her parents and relatives provided a lot of moral support to Kalpana for her studies and are now proud of her success.

Profession
During 10th standard, Kalpana decided to prepare for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and then join regular classes; joined the ‘Akash Institute’ in New Delhi (India). In 2018, she took the medical entrance exam and ranked first in the country with a score of 99.99%.

Kalpana also scored well in his 12th exam. Her score was 171 out of 180 in physics, 160 out of 180 in chemistry, and 360 out of 360 in biology.
