Kane Brown and Wife Katelyn Announce They Are Expecting Third Baby: ‘Last Christmas of 4’

Here’s a very Merry Christmas to Kane Brown and his family.

The 30-year-old country singer and his wife Katelyn, 31, announced on Monday that they are expecting their third child together.

The Browns took to Instagram on Christmas morning to share the exciting news, posting a photo of the two on the couch with their daughters Kodi Jane, 2 next week, and Kingsley Rose, 4, holding a sonogram.

The couple captioned the post, “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!” while many of their famous friends – including Taylor Lautner, Cole Swindell, Russell Dickerson and more – began commenting to congratulate the growing family.

The Browns aren’t shy about sharing glimpses of their family. Last month, Katelyn posted a video of the foursome and wrote: “Magical memories with my favorite people 🎄.” In October, the family dressed up together for Halloween and showed off their costumes on Instagram, writing: “Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Donald wish everyone a Happy Halloween!!!! Have fun trick or treating 🎃🎉.”

The “Be Like That” singer and his wife — who is also a musician — met for the first time back in 2016 at one of his first concerts, where they were united by their mutual love and passion for music. The duo got married in 2018 and had their first daughter in 2019 and their second in 2021.

The couple also work together outside of their family. In 2022, Kane and Katelyn released their song “Thank God” and performed a love duet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

“My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together… There [were] actually four [other songs] that we had,” Kane told PEOPLE after they released “Thank God.” “I was like, ‘Honey, you’re going to be on this one, or this one, or this one.’ And then ‘Thank God’ came on and I said, ‘This is the one.’ She said the same thing, but I’m so glad I waited for this one to come out.”

He added: “I keep telling everybody she’s my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like any relationship song or anybody who’s married or about to get married just knows. It’s like, ‘God put you in my life for a reason.'”
