Gunn and Peter Safran have confirmed that a new Batman reboot is in the works, in the form of Brave and Fearless In the movie, they also confirmed that various Bat-family members will appear in the movie. If so, it could mean that many of Batman’s notorious villains are already established in this version of the DC Universe. It wouldn’t be shocking if Poison Ivy was one of these enemies, whether she was acting alone or teaming up with the Gotham City Sirens.
Which DC Universe project is Poison Ivy best suited for? Arkham Asylum TV series from Batman’s Matt Reeves. Arkham Asylum could feature Poison Ivy (played by Gillan in this case) as one of the central characters while exploring how she became an iconic supervillain.since Brave and Fearless Might deal with other villains, Arkham Asylum At least it could be a solid starting point for Poison Ivy before she enters the film industry.
It’s unclear if Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn in Gunn’s DC Universe or if the series will cast a new actress by then.
For someone as talented as Gillan, it would be interesting to see her reunite with Gunn in the DC Universe and take on a very different character from Nebula in the MCU. Considering Poison Ivy has so many interesting elements to explore, Gillan would be an incredible casting choice. Hopefully Gunn can find a place for Gillan in the new DC Universe, whether she’s Poison Ivy or another character from the DC canon.
