Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023: The Karnataka School School Assessment and Accreditation Council (KSQAAC) has started the registration process for the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS). Class 8 students can apply for the scholarship scheme at the official website: kseeb.karnataka.gov.in.

School principals must fill the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023 form on behalf of the eligible students. The last date to apply is October 4, 2023. Students can choose from Kannada, English, Marathi, Urdu and Telugu languages ​​to appear in the exam. NMMS Scholarship 2023 Karnataka Exam will be held on 17th December 2023.

Who Can Apply for Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023?

Before applying, candidates must check the eligibility conditions:

  • Interested candidates must have at least 55% or equivalent marks in class 7.
  • They must have studied in government schools, government aided schools and local schools.
  • A candidate’s family income must be less than 3.5 lakh rupees to be considered eligible.
  • To continue with the NMMS scholarship in higher secondary school, they must secure a minimum of 60% marks in class 10 and pass class 11 in the first attempt with 55% marks.
  • Those belonging to SC/ST category have 5% relaxation.

Who is not eligible for the Karnataka NMMS Scholarship 2023?

The NMMS scholarship is not available to students attending residential schools such as Morarji Desai, Kitturrani Chennamma, Navodaya School, Vajpayee School, Eklavya, KGBV or Ambedkar Residential School. Students attending Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik or any other privately aided government funded residential school are also not eligible to apply for this exam.
