Actress Kat Dennings and singer Andrew WK got married!
The couple exchanged vows in a “small house wedding” in November 2023.
“I wanted our wedding to be completely different from an ‘industry event’ in every way,” Dennings said Vogue. “I even handmade all of our wedding flowers, aisle pieces and our ceremony arch, which took a full three days. I wanted to be hands-on with the whole experience and feel like we built the moment together from scratch.”
The Two broke girls star surprised her fans in May 2021 by announcing that she was engaged to WK. The news came as a shock to many as the couple only revealed their relationship earlier that month.
Although the exact timeline of their romance is unknown, Dennings previously revealed that her and WK’s engagement was a surprise to the couple themselves.
“It wasn’t planned. No bowing — I don’t even remember what happened after that,” she said during a February 2022 appearance. The Drew Barrymore Show. “We were just wondering ‘Should we get married?’ And ‘Yes’. I just burst into tears.”

In 2014, Dennings and WK shared a brief exchange on Twitter before meeting in real life. Responding to a photo of himself shared by the rocker, Dennings chirped“You are a tall drink of milk AWK.”
At the time, WK was married to music producer Cherie Lily. Meanwhile, Dennings will be dating singer Josh Groban later that fall. Dennings and Groban first appeared publicly as a couple in October 2014, but later split in July 2016.
A few years later, WK revealed that he and his then-wife “initiated amicable divorce proceedings in late 2019,” according to a press release he shared while announcing his new music and tour.

Dennings and WK first sparked romance rumors in late April 2021 when Dennings shared two photos of the singer on Instagram. In the footage, WK is shown standing alone in a black T-shirt. The A doll’s face the star simply captioned the post with a black heart.

On September 10, 2021, WK released his sixth studio album, God is partying. Dennings and WK were married at their home in Los Angeles. Approximately 15 people attended the intimate wedding, including the couple’s close friends Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song.
“It was incredibly emotional for both of us, and the love that surrounded us was very palpable,” A doll’s face said the star Vogue. “I felt truly lucky to have married such a good and loving man.
