John Stamos and Son Billy, 5, Share a Sweet Moment as They Pose for Photos at Wonka Premiere in Los Angeles

John Stamos enjoyed a candy-sweet father-son outing on Sunday.

The Full house The alum, 60, was photographed walking the red carpet at Wonka premiere in Los Angeles with his 5-year-old son Billy and wife Caitlin McHugh Stamos, 37.

Wearing a pastel blue suit and sunglasses, Stamos hugged his son as they posed for a father-son photo together with a Wonka candy bar as the backdrop. Billy chose a red velvet suit and sat on his dad’s leg, smiling for the cameras.

Stamos and his wife also posed for a cute family photo with Billy, sandwiching their son between the two.

John Stamos’ son Billy moves dad’s memoirs outside bookstore to make them ‘easier’ to find: ‘We’re so proud’

Stamos announced the event on his Instagram, sharing several photos and a video of his family of three on the red carpet.

“We got a golden ticket to the premiere of @wonkamovie last night! It was such a pleasure to bring Billy with us to this one. He was so excited and we all loved the movie. Thanks for having us! Go see #WonkaMovie this weekend 🍫,” he wrote in description.

After Stamos’ memoir was published in October, Billy helped sell his father’s books, moving the books to Barnes and Noble so that Stamos’ book was front and center.

In a video posted on McHugh Stamos’ Instagram, McHugh Stamos explained to his child that all the other celebrity memoirs have their own tables, suggesting that he move Stamos’ books because she spotted an empty table near the front of the store.

“So put it really nice like there, like Britney’s desk,” McHugh Stamos told Billy as he placed his father’s book on the round, empty table.

“I’ll put it in the front like this so my dad can see it extra!” Billy told his mom beautifully. He placed the last of the memoirs on the stack, cover facing out.

“Get my dad’s book at Barnes & Noble,” Billy concluded the clip.

Earlier in October, Stamos spoke with PEOPLE about his memoir, opening up about whether he and his wife plan to expand their family.

Asked if the actor plans to have more children, Stamos told PEOPLE, “We do, but it doesn’t seem to be in the cards.”

“By the way, [Billy’s] looked for a child all along, like a sibling. If we don’t pay attention to him for three minutes, he goes crazy,” he added.

“He never could handle a sibling. No, I know he couldn’t. He’d like it first. Oh, there’s a little baby, and me. We’ve got a kid to handle.”
