Kate Beckinsale Shows Off Her Festive Easter-Themed Socks from Hospital Bed amid Health Concerns

Kate Beckinsale shares news from the hospital this Easter.

Beckinsale, 50, posted a photo that appeared to show her own feet in a hospital bed as she fasted to mark Easter.

“Happy Easter 🐰🐇🐣,” she wrote in the caption alongside two photos of her black pajama pants with white bows on them, as well as socks with bunnies as an ode to the holiday. One of the photos allowed followers to get a closer look at the Easter-themed socks.

While Beckinsale has not confirmed when the photo was taken or what she was in the hospital for, she has received comments of support and concern from friends and fans, including Gwen Stefani who asked “What’s wrong!!! 🙏🏻,” in the comments section, while Olympic alpine skier Lindsey Vonn posted a “🙏🏻❤️” emoji in reaction to the post.

Rebel Wilson’s fiancee, Ramona Agruma, meanwhile, wrote: “Get well dear 💕🐣💕🐇,” in support.

Beckinsale posted a photo from her hospital bed over the Easter weekend.

Actress Alice Evans also commented, writing: “I’m sorry you’re still in hospital Kate. I hope nothing serious is wrong. I know you went through the ringer last year. Sending love and positive vibes. ❤️.”

The actress has been giving health updates since March 11 when she posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed as part of a carousel post to celebrate her mother Judy’s belated birthday and Mother’s Day in the UK.

She has not yet revealed the reason for hospitalization.

Beckinsale’s rep declined to comment when contacted by PEOPLE after she first posted a picture of her in the hospital.

In her March 11 Instagram post, the actress left worried followers when she shared two teary-eyed photos of herself and said she was “sick,” in the caption of the post, though she didn’t reveal the reason she wasn’t feeling well.

On March 19, Beckinsale shared another update from the hospital when she posted a selfie of herself resting in bed on her Instagram Story. On the same day, the actress posted a tribute to her late father Richard Beckinsale on the 45th anniversary of his death and to her stepfather Roy Battersby, who died on January 10.

“The day you died came so suddenly even when I was expecting it,” Beckinsale wrote of her father, who died of a heart attack at the age of 31 in 1979. “This is my first year without any father figure in a long time. . A long time. How I miss you.”

Beckinsale revealed the reason for her stay in the hospital.

Beckinsale added of Battersby in the caption: “How familiar this fall through the abyss. How awful it is like falling home with no one to catch you. I hope your energies have met.”

Since being in the hospital, Beckinsale has been visited by her beloved cat Willow and Pomeranian Myf, and shared photos of the visit on Instagram. Last week, the actress also revealed a tattoo on her arm in another hospital photo, which features a bird and a message addressed to “My KB” completed by West Hollywood artist Endry Stymest.
