Kate Beckinsale Wears a Dress Resembling the Titanic Necklace to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Birthday Party

Kate Beckinsale made a style statement at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 49th birthday party.

The 50-year-old actress was among the A-list crowd at the cast party on Saturday in Beverly Hills, and she transformed into a life-size sapphire gem for the occasion!

Beckinsale wore a sparkling strapless mini dress from The Blonds Fall 2023 collection, which was embellished with sparkling embellishments and a large rectangular sapphire-like embellishment at the belt. There were also layers of crystal embellishments along the neckline.

Her choice of outfit appeared to be a nod to DiCaprio’s most notable films, incl Titanic as her striking piece resembled the famous Heart of the Ocean diamond necklace featured in the 1997 film.

Some also believed that the actress was referring to her and DiCaprio’s film, Aviator(as first pointed out by Cosmpolitan.com), specifically the scene where she (as Ava Gardner) declares “I’m not for sale” while rejecting a sapphire necklace given to her by DiCaprio’s character Howard Hughes.

Kate Beckinsale is turning heads with an unusual wide-brimmed hat and floor-length veil — and revealing a new tattoo!

Beckinsale shared photos of her outfit – which also consisted of platform heels with ankle straps, sparkly earrings and a big bow in her hair – on Instagram, writing “Powerpuff girls go”, but left her inspiration open to interpretation.

This isn’t the first time Beckinsale has appeared at an event in a larger-than-life ensemble.

In September, she attended the Zodiac Ball at the Houdini Estate in Los Angeles in a Tony Ward Couture look that consisted of a gold bodysuit and an elaborate wide-brimmed hat with a floor-length veil that also featured embellished gold detailing. She stood tall in gold platform heels.

Leonardo DiCaprio Shows PDA With Vittorio Ceretti at Birthday Party Attended by JAY-Z and Beyoncé (Exclusive)

DiCaprio hosted some of the biggest names in showbiz this weekend, including JAY-Z and Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Tobey Maguire, Taika Waititi and Axl Rose. Lil Wayne was also in attendance and even performed, the source adds, noting, “At one point, everyone was singing classic hip hop.”

Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, rumored to be DiCaprio’s love, was also there for the celebration. A source told PEOPLE that the two were “gentle and kissing all night.”

However, DiCaprio remained in the center of attention, as the source says, the actor was “lifted up and carried around the room” at one point. The party lasted until the early hours of the morning, and many guests stayed even after 4 am
