Kate Bosworth and Justin Long Go on Food-Filled Road Trip Cross-Country — See Where They Stopped

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth got a taste of the USA.

The Blue Crush the actress (40) published a series of pictures from her trip with her husband (45).

In Indianapolis, the couple posed next to a Long’s Bakery sign and dug into pastrami sandwiches from Shapiro’s Deli. They sipped noodles at Yokozuna Yale in Oklahoma and licked ice cream at Sawmill Market in New Mexico.

“We ate our way across the country!” Bosworth wrote in the title. “(Things got real in Albuquerque with the stained shirts, slide 6).”

Long joked in the comments: “I thought very few people would see the stained shirt because we were mostly in the car all day! At least… less than a million.”

Long also joked about their dog Happy in the comment: “The best. Cross country trip. Ever. No thanks to Happy’s farts.”

The couple, who tied the knot earlier this year at the Rockaway Hotel in Queens, New York, kept it casual in their cross-country outfits. In some of the pictures, Bosworth is wearing a gray and yellow Patagonia sweatshirt and dark gray sweatpants. Long was photographed in a variety of t-shirts, such as a stained Dos Hombres t-shirt, and navy blue jeans.

Justin Long reveals he lost his wedding ring just months after marrying Kate Bosworth

A few months ago, the couple shared a post about food in a more upscale setting. In September, Long and Bosworth dined at fancy vegetarian restaurant Eleven Madison Park in New York City — and even went behind the scenes of their meal to pose for a picture with restaurant workers. While in the kitchen, Long and Bosworth almost kissed for one picture.

Long described their multi-course meal as “the most delicious vegan meal” in the headline, crediting a “talented staff of culinary greats.”

A source told PEOPLE about the couple’s wedding. After they got engaged, Kate couldn’t wait to marry Justin. She knew she never wanted a big wedding. She only cared about marriage, a source said in May.

“They kept talking about running away,” the insider added. “They ended up having an impromptu and casual wedding a few weeks ago. It was perfect. She’s thrilled to be marrying Justin.”
